Auxiliary Opportunities

Join Our Youth Support Team

Join our Specialized Homes and Support Services. We welcome resumes from qualified individuals interested in hourly work within our 24-hour emergency receiving homes for youth. Many shifts are overnight.

About the Role

Youth workers support personal, social, and educational growth, fostering positive relationships and providing a safe, clean environment during life transitions. Our youth often face significant challenges, including mental health concerns, behavioral issues, and substance use.

Key Qualities

  • Patience, teamwork, and independence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with professionals (e.g., social workers, police)
  • Proficiency in writing progress notes and reports

Requirements

  • Basic First Aid
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and driver’s abstract
  • MCFD Consolidated Hub clearance

Qualifications

A diploma or degree in Social Work, Child and Youth Care, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is required.
